Exeter Loft Conversions – FAQ’s

We will come and see the proposed conversion area and take some initial measurements. We are looking for at least 7’6” or 2.3m from the top of the ceiling joist to the underside of the ridge/apex board.

Using specialist design work and extra structural supports it is possible. An initial survey of the loft will reveal what the main requirements will be.

You may need Planning Permission and you will definitely need building Regulation approval. We take care of all that for you.

We do all these works using our highly trained team of builders, plumbers and electricians. All our plumbers are Gas Safe registered and our electricians are fully NIC EIc Approved

This will depend on the size and complexity of your loft conversion but as a general rule of thumb we usually allow 6 – 8 weeks for average size jobs. It can be less for smaller jobs i.e single rooms.

We always access the loft from a scaffold. In order to keep any mess and disruption confined to the loft area. We try to limit how much we have to come into your home whilst work is underway.

We leave the access route safe and tidy at the end of each working day and all debris is removed from the site at the end of the building project.
